1) The Florence Howe Award.
The deadline for WCML’s Florence Howe and Annette Kolodny Awards has been extended to December 7, 2009

Each year, the Florence Howe Award for feminist scholarship recognizes two outstanding essays by feminist scholars, one from the field of English and one from a foreign language. The recipient is announced at the annual MLA meeting. For consideration, essays of 25-30 pages written from a feminist perspective must be published in English between June 2008 and September 2009. Submit 3 copies to:

2) Annual Edition of INTED 2010, the International Technology, Education and Development Conference.

We invite you to submit your abstracts and participate in the Annual Edition of INTED 2010, the International Technology, Education and Development Conference, that will be held in Valencia (SPAIN), on the 8th 9th and 10th of March 2010.

The objective of INTED 2010 is to share your experiences in the fields of Technology, Education, Development and International Collaboration.
It is an International Forum for lecturers, researchers, professors, engineers, educational scientists and technologists.

You can present your projects in two modalities:

* In person: oral and poster presentations.
* Virtually: if you can not attend in person.
